On Our Way

I live near a ski area and saw these 3 friends on their way to a day of snowboarding. It is amazing to watch them fearlessly wind their way down the slopes & catching air off the ramps. Such fun!
I am currently involved in designing and painting furniture and murals for the birthing unit at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. All the furniture is made by a local company and we have done numerous rooms for them in the past. They are expanding and we have been asked to work with them again. They have a virtual tour of the existing rooms at their website: www.catholicmedicalcenter.org. Put "The Mom's Place" in the search box.
Otherwise, I am working on marketing my miniatures and planning a 2-day Arts Festival for our town in August.

Family Night Out

Another mini. Very busy week with shop open and commissions coming in for the holidays.
Weather is getting colder each day and I'm not quite ready for the snow to fall. Winter is a great time to evaluate your art from the previous year and take risks or try new things.
I've wanted to try abstract art for many years but didn't know how to approach it. I've got a few ideas I'd like to try and see what happens. I'll post one when I finally get it done. For some reason, it's scary to step outside what is familiar. It's time I try...

Winter Fun

Another mini painting with skaters having fun at the local pond. I may continue these through the holidays as I am getting a good response. If you have any suggestions for subject matter, please let me know.
The Holiday Shop opened today so I will be keeping busy. I also design & paint furniture for a local company and have to come up with a painting for the Red Cross donation center. I love being so busy. Sorry the photo is a little crooked.
